Project Description
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Scottish architect Sir Robert Lorimer, the Hill of Tarvit is a real showcase of Edwardian beauty. Only a short distance from St Andrews, this mansion has the most exquisite and elaborate French and Chippendale décor you have ever seen.
The mansion itself hosts a magnificent Great Hall, adorned in warm oak panelling, delicate carvings and 16th Century tapestries, making this a truly elegant setting for a champagne reception, a wedding ceremony or that special dinner. Then there is the kitchen, the hub of every home. Where else could you have a scrumptious cooking demonstration or a delicious wine tasting?
During the Spring and Summer months, wander out onto the south-facing terrace, through the open French windows and soak in the sunken rose gardens, lavish borders and views over the Fife hillside. Just picture it, a glass of champagne and that amazing view.
The grounds of the property house a 9-Hole Kingarrock hickory golf course, for that unique team building experience. As a team, you can also have a go at playing croquet, a spot of falconry, play billiards or sample some of Scotland’s finest whisky. What are you waiting for?
