Situated just 20 minutes walk from Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, Holyrood Distillery will be Edinburgh’s first Malt Whisky distillery in 100 years. The Historic Railway building dating from 1835 now houses both Gin and Whisky stills and offers the visitor an opportunity to explore the world of flavour of both of these spirits.
The Botanical room is situated on the top floor and is available for dinners or receptions for up to 60. The tasting room next door has the Gin still as a unique feature, and offers a lovely ambience for evening events.
On the floor below, the whisky distillery makes a unique venue for small events for up to 22, and the barrel room is ideal for the whisky enthusiast, accommodating receptions or dinners of up to 60.
The whole building can accommodate up to 110 for receptions and the lovely courtyard outside, or the bar (offering panoramic views over Salisbury Crags) are options for pre-dinner drinks.
