We love all of the venues in our portfolio, but we’d like to stop for a moment and focus on The Merchants’ Hall. As the second installment in The Merchants’ Hall venue series, this week we’ll be looking at how you could have the most unforgettable corporate event here.

This beautiful venue is situated a short 5 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station, putting it in the perfect central location for a variety of business related events. The space is ideally laid out for larger conferences and receptions, smaller seminars and networking events depending on your requirements.

The Merchants’ Hall uniquely combines both history and character, with those essential modern features that are particularly important at business events, like inclusive Wi-Fi access. The venue will also provide other necessary equipment you may require, such as tables, chairs and microphones. The venue also offer cloakroom facilities which can be made available for guests to use to make guests more comfortable.

The Hall is a great versatile space to host a slightly larger corporate event. In 1995, the Hall was restored to preserve and highlight its finely detailed panels and pillars. The room’s size is enhanced by the beautiful, spacious sprung wooden floor.  The Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests for drinks receptions and 150 for corporate dinners and theatre style seminars.

Upstairs, the Court Room and adjoining Crush Hall are a prime location for holding that meeting, smaller seminar or corporate dinner. With its large windows, prestigious surroundings and mahogany paneled walls, it’s the perfect place for your corporate event.
