Terms & Conditions

  • Numbers are limited, with orders taken on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Latest order date 18th December 2pm.
  • Additional items can only be ordered when ordering a Christmas Main Meal (for minimum of 2)
  • Our platters and extras all serve 4
  • Delivery is included in the price to the following postcodes EH1 to EH42.
  • For addresses outwith these postcodes you can arrange to collect your order from our kitchens in Musselburgh; please specify this in the notes section when you check out.
  • Delivery will be either on the 23rd or 24th December and you will be notified on 21st December of your delivery time slot. If the date or time is not suitable your Hickory@Home order can be collected from our kitchens in Musselburgh.
  • All food will be labelled with allergens and ‘use buy’ dates. Once you have received your delivery it should be chilled in a fridge immediately (or within 2 hours) and kept at a temperature between 1 – 4°C.
  • Full cooking/reheating instructions will be provided on delivery.
  • Minimum order is for two people and all dishes are supplied in suitable disposable or recyclable containers.
  • All bookings are confirmed with payment at time of booking and no changes or cancellations will be accepted after the 18th December at 2pm.
  • Hickory hold no responsibility in the event of ill effects due to failing to follow the correct instructions supplied or failing to maintain the required chilled temperature of 1 – 4°C prior to cooking and/or serving.

Delivery

We are delivering within these postcode areas: EH1-EH42.  Outwith these postcodes you can arrange a collection from our Musselburgh Kitchen.

We will deliver your order on either the 23rd or 24th December. We’ll contact you on the 21st Dec to confirm a 2-hour delivery window. If this time is unsuitable, you can collect from Musselburgh. The delivery cost is included in the total price.

Customer Safety Procedures

All food is prepared and delivered from the Hickory Kitchen in East Lothian – following strict government health & safety standards, with specific procedures in place regarding the current COVID-19 situation. This means we use gloves, masks and undertake constant cleaning.

Alcohol

We operate a Challenge 25 Policy. If you’re lucky enough to look younger than 25 we’ll ask you for ID when we deliver.

Food & Ordering

There is limited availability so do get your order in early to avoid disappointment.

Your delivery comes with straightforward instructions as some elements may require finishing at home before serving.

Additional items can only be ordered when ordering a Christmas Main Meal (for minimum of 2)

We love to use fresh, seasonal produce, so if an ingredient becomes unavailable, then we may have to alter the menu at late notice.   But we’ll always try to make a like for like swap wherever possible. Sadly, we are unable to modify the menu on an individual basis.
