DESCRIPTION
Drum Castle, on the periphery of Royal Deeside, combines Jacobean and Victorian opulence with medieval history in a characterful and dramatic location. A former stronghold and hunting lodge, it is one of the oldest tower houses in Scotland, and was home to the Irvine family for over 650 years.
Civil, religious or humanist wedding ceremonies can be held in the Library, and you and up to 50 guests can enjoy a celebratory feast or sophisticated conference in the richly-appointed Dining Room. A 16th century chapel is also available in the grounds for religious wedding ceremonies of up to 45 people. There is whisky tasting and falconry available, adding to Drum Castle’s true Scottish feel, and its size makes it ideal for corporate events that require spacious and flexible surroundings. The castle is encircled by ancient oak woodland and has a garden of historic roses, which cast a delicate fragrance over the environs.
