The Georgian House of Dun is neighbour to some of the most picturesque and unspoilt beaches in Scotland, as well as offering stunning views of the Montrose Basin.
Surrounded by Victorian gardens and woodlands, the design of the house was inspired by the Chateau d’Issy, near Paris, and exhibits an opulent European flavour.
Perfect for those who love art and beautiful interiors, the venue is home to the Hutchison and Stirling collections. Wedding ceremonies can be conducted in the Grand Saloon for up to 70 guests, or the Victorian walled garden for up to 150, Marquees can also be accommodated on the front lawn.
The Dining Room, adorned with family portraits and elaborate, ornate plasterwork provides a wonderful setting for entertaining colleagues and clients in style.

Hickory continues to advise and work collaboratively with venues on sustainability best practices, and we’re pushing ourselves each year to do more. During 2023, we are undertaking research, with event owners, buyers and customers which will take a closer look at the world of dietary preferences in a bid to better inform future food choices.
